About Caliber Services
Hi, I’m Eric Mayne, founder of Caliber Services. With over 30 years of experience as a metal fabricator, craftsman, business owner, and community leader, I’ve built my career on solving problems, creating lasting work, and ensuring every job gets done right.
Before Caliber, I built a successful concrete business, trained young people in the trades, and founded a nonprofit helping New Americans obtain driver’s licenses to access better job opportunities and increase their self-sufficiency.
Whether it’s fixing a faucet or remodeling a space, I bring craftsmanship, clear communication, and a straightforward approach to every project. At Caliber, we believe in showing up on time, doing the job right, and treating your home with the same care we’d give our own.

Quick Turnaround
Built by Mentors. Building the Next Generation.
I was shaped early on by men who took the time to teach me—starting with my father, a craftsman who led by example, and later by mentors who were skilled tradesmen, business owners, and community leaders, each passing down lessons in craftsmanship, responsibility, and integrity. Now, through Caliber Services, I do my part to pass those lessons on by investing in young men who need more than a job—they need a chance to learn, grow, and take pride in their work, both on the job site and in life.

Because just like I was — they’re being built, too.
Building the Next Generation
Working with young men on the job site isn’t just about getting the work done — it’s about giving them room to step up, problem-solve, and take ownership. Whether they’re learning how to use a tool or how to show up consistently, those moments plant seeds. It’s in the small things — being on time, following through, doing the job right — where real confidence starts to grow, and that growth reaches far beyond the job site.
Becoming a capable man doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, mistakes, and someone willing to walk beside you. I was fortunate to have that growing up — my father, and the men who took the time to guide me. Now I try to do the same. It’s not about chasing perfection; it’s about building character, one job and one lesson at a time.
